Sugar & Spice - CD Sunday

Ooo morning everyone, Happy Easter and welcome to the start of British Summer Time! I hope you all remembered to put your clocks forward and turn the heating up to cope with the unseasonally cold weather!!!

It's my turn to choose the theme for CD Sunday this week and as it is Easter I've chosen Sugar and Spice. OK own up - who had chocolate for breakfast?

Please feel free to interpret the theme in whichever way you want.

Here is my card:

I have used Holly Pond Hill by Joanna Sheen for the backing paper and topper for my card. I used a Britannia die to cut out the letters. The three epoxy stickers were made using an Epiphany punch. I then raided my craft room and found some vellum die cut flowers and leaves from a very old Dawn Bibby kit that remained practically untouched. I'm on a bit of a mission this year to use things instead of them languishing in boxes!

Please pop along and visit my fellow teamies and our GDT  Marinato see their interpretations of our theme this week.

  1. This is pretty Jocelyn and the more I see of things made from this cd the more I think I need it.

  2. This is beautiful Jocelyn, I am thinking about those Brittania Dies, they look a useful addition to my craft hoard. Still resisting this CD but as Jenny has said, the more I see of it the more I like it.

  3. This is lovely Jocelyn - and although I didn't have chocolate for breakfast it wasn't long yesterday before I was eating a chocolate bunny found on an Easter egg hunt just before our last dance session of the weekend.

  7. Hi Jocelyn. This is a lovely image - very Beatrix Potter-y. I love the three little images down the side and the way you've used the leaves and flowers. Great theme.
