Wild Flowers

This week Wynn has chosen the theme for our CD Sunday Challenge and what a great one it is. Flowers are starting to peep through already in East Sussex so lets see lots of flowers growing wild in your projects this time around.

I used Shabby Chic Victorian Botanical CD by Debbi Moore for the backing paper, main image with a few decoupaged flower heads. The poppy seed heads are a stamp by Glenda Waterworth that I've had for years. The punched border is a Martha Stewart punch embellished with flat back pearls. I used a quickie glue pen to fix them on which is a bit fiddly but worth it for the end effect. I used black card to mat and layer and was pleased with the overall effect.

Don't forget to let us know which CD you have used in your design - if it's one we haven't seen yet it may mean we need to go shopping!

  7. Hi Jocelyn. Love the card. White poppies are new to me as I have never seen them before. Well done you for persevering with the glue pen. I tend to lose my patience with it.
