Ribbons and Bows

Team A at CD Sunday Challenge Blog have a new theme this week chosen by Jenny and it is Ribbons and Bows.

Here is my interpretation:

I've used The Cardmaker's Year CD by Joanna Sheen for the backing paper. The frame, grey backing square and the hexagon were all cut using spellbinders dies. I stamped the pears using an Anita's stamp and then started doodling in the white spaces. For the main pear I used my Prisma colour pencils for some gentle shading using a blending stump to soften the edges. I have to say I am quite pleased with the overall effect.

  1. Hi Jocelyn. I think this is wonderful. Clever you with your Zentangling.

  2. Great doodling Jocelyn.....what a creative idea to use on a stamped it. Hugs Wynn xx

  3. The overall effect is fantastic Jocelyn as is your doodling, you would think it was a stamp,so clever really beautiful.

  4. That is really striking. I must have a go at Zentangle - I'm a compulsive doodler so I'm sure I'd enjoy it

  5. Well Jocelyn I'm not surprised you are pleased with your efforts as this is very striking, I love it and it has a very elegant feel to it.

  6. That's lovely Jocelyn. I wish I has the patience to try some of that doodling. Sadly - I don't.
