#119 - Anything Goes

It's my turn to host the challenge this fortnight at CD Sunday Plus.

Here is my card.

I made this card using backing paper from a CD from La Pashe called Gnomes and Fairies. The stamp is by Daisy B and the matts and layers were die cut using A5 Double Stitched Nested Dies by Claina Palmer Designs.

I also lined the envelope with a matching paper in the same design for a finishing touch.

If you would like to join in this challenge you can find all the details of how to enter on our blog - CD Sunday Plus Challenge Blog.

Our theme is Anything Goes, all we ask is that you use a CD, digi or USB somewhere in your design that has been printed out and made up into your card or project and let us know which one you used. You will find all the details of how to enter and play along with us over on the main blog here.

#118 - Anything Goes

Margret is hosting the challenge this fortnight at CD Sunday Plus.

Here is my card.

I lost a friend earlier this year to ovarian cancer. It was very sudden and shocked us all. This is the card I made for the family.

I made this card using backing paper and the main image from a CD from Joanna Sheen called If Flowers Could Talk. I removed the verse that was on the original image and replaced it with one I had found on the internet.

I used two dies from the Winter White Collection by Crafter's Companion to make the flowers and leaves. The stamens are also from the same collection.

I then used Nuvo Watercolour Pencils from Tonic Studios to colour the petals to look like lilies.

I used another verse from the internet on the insert.

I then lined the envelope to finish it off.
