CD Sunday Challenge - Love is in the Air

I've been asked to make a wedding card for one of the crew of four local lads who won the race to row across the Indian Ocean in 2009. They raised a lot of money for charity and when they arrived in Mauritius he proposed to his girlfriend who was there waiting for him. They are getting married next Saturday and the theme for this week's challenge from CD Sunday just fit the bill. I've used images from MCS Four Seasons - Spring.

Bah Humbug 3 - Christmas Crackers

For the Bah Humbug challenge this week I've used a WS Designs Template and stamped the image in the centre using stamps by Rubber Stamp Tapestry.

Bah Humbug 2 - Using Stencils

Week two of the Bah Humbug Challenge

is all about using stencils. I've used a holly stencil for the background and used a distress ink pad to sponge through the stencil, I then gave it a quick spritz with a mica spray to give it some sparkle. The main image was created using a Diane Dorwood stencil and stencil paste sprinkled with glitter. Thank you to all at Bah Humbug for making me look again as some of the things hidden in my craft room.

CD Sunday Challenge - New Year - New to You

Over at CD Sunday this week the challenge is New Year - I've used and image and BP from Joanna Sheen's "The Cardmaker's Year" - New to You - I've used a new die with my Grand Calibur cutting machine to cut a fancy edged card. This is the first card I've made using this shape.

CD Sunday Challenge - In Stitches

I nearly didn't get this done in time as I've not been well for the last few days. Anyway better late than never. I've used Joanna Sheen's Eastern Treasures CD and stitched some peel offs as an embellishment for this week's CD Sunday Challenge.
