I've used backing papers from my stash and a lovely Joanna Sheen House Mouse stamp for this card. I've coloured the stamped images using Promarkers.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Sketch N Stash Challenge 64

I thought I'd join the challege at Sketch N Stash this week. A great idea to get us all using all those things we simply Must Have but never quite get around to using!

The tartan backing paper is from Joanna Sheen and its been in my cupboard for years (oops!). The brick wall backing paper is from a Cute Companions CD called Summer Stories. A lovely CD that I really should try and use more often.

The stamped image of a village pub is by Pilkington Lane. This was another of my Must Have It buys but is the first time I've used it. It stamped beautifully so I really should get the rest of the set out (another oops moment!) and put them to work.

The Stamp Man Challenge 25- Butterflies and Dragonflies

I've used images from the Butterfly Beauties for my card which I'm entering in the Stamp Man Challenge.

I've used Spellbinders Wonky Square for the main image with a backing of gold mirri. I used my Cuttlebug to cut and emboss the gold butterfly and used pearls for its body.

LOTV Challenge 102 - Sketch

I'm entering this card for the LOTV Challenge this week.

CHNC Challenge 26 - Anything Goes

This is my card for the CHNC Challenge this week of "anything goes".

Bah Humbug 25 - Penguins

I've used a Hobby Art stamp called Happy Trio and stamped it several times along a backing paper from Debbees CDs called Winters Sleep (one of my all time favourites). I embossed my penguins with black embossing powder. I then mounted them onto some dark blue card and used a Martha Stewart punch along the bottom edge for the snow flakes. I then used some of the waste from the punched border to attach to the top of the card to look like falling snow.

This card is for Bah Humbug's Penguin Challenge this week.

CD Sunday Challenge - Mixed Bouquet

I've used Joanna Sheen's Precious Petals CD for my first card at CD Sunday this week. This cute and quirky image made me smile. I've kept it simple with just some mats and layers finished off with card candy and a pretty bow.

For my second card this week I used A Bunch of Botanicals CD 4 by Cupcake Crafting.

First I took an 8 x 8 green card and stamped and embossed swirls in blue WOW powder. I then printed a sheet of backing paper from the CD to match my main image. I used a Martha Stewart punch around the page on this.

I took some plain white card and using a mica mask and one of the fabulous Inkilicious brushes I inked through the mask to create a background of vines to mount my floral decoupage from the CD onto. I then dived into my voluminous ribbon box to find the right shade for my bow.

I hope you like this week's cards. It is my last week as a Guest Designer for CD Sunday and I've loved my time with them. I would love to join them again sometime - if they will have me.

Cupcake 147 - Sketcharoony

I've followed Cupcake's sketch to make this card using a rubber stamp from Kraftin Kimmie. It's called Shy Emma Lou and I think she is just so cute.

The small backing paper is from Humphrey's Corner CD by Crafters Companion.

LOTV Challenge 101 - Bring on the Music

I decided to make another Christmas card for this week's challenge from LOTV of Bring on the Music.

I used a cuttlebug folder for the music background and then used the wonky square nestie die to cut out the gold card and the words of Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly as a background to the carol singers which I stamped and coloured with Promarkers.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 62 - Marlene's Sketch

My card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge this week uses this summery stamp of a little girl with her dog eating ice cream.

I used some Marianne dies to make the flowers.

CD Sunday Challenge - Tassel Time

I've used two Joanna Sheen CDs to make this card for this week's challenge from CD Sunday.

The main image of a geisha is from Tales of the Orient. The backing papers come from Oriental Dreams.

The parasol was made using an Arty Farty template, a kebab stick with beads and a tassel to complete the handle.

I made the paper beads by rolling long thin triangular strips of the backing paper around a kebab stick (start rolling at the widest end first) and glueing the narrow end before sliding them off the stick and threading with cord and putting on the card.

Sparkles Forum Christmas Challenge - Snowmen

I've used this snowman stamp and sentiment from High Hopes for the Sparkles Snowmen Challenge.

CHNC Challenge 25 - Christmas Wings

I thought these little angels would be just right for the CHNC challenge this week.

Bah Humbug 24 - Scarves and Mittens

Here is my interpretation of Scarves and Mittens for this week's challenge from Bah Humbug.

The backing paper is from the new CD from Crafters Companion featuring The Snowman and the lovely snowman image is a stamp by Anita's. I stamped it using a Big and Juicy ink pad.

My Time to Craft - Challenge 144

I watched Barbara Gray do this technique recently and thought I would try it out for this challenge from My Time to Craft of Wildlife Reserve.

First I took a sheet of double sided sticky and stuck one side to some plain white card. I then took a sharp blade and made cut lines across the card to form a landscape. Peeling off one sheet of the backing at a time I used a combination of gliding flakes and mica powders brushed across the sticky card to make a background. I then used the zebra stamp from Rubbadubbadoo and staz on to stamp onto my background. I also used a tiny Clarity stamp to make the grasses and birds.

I used nestabilities to cut out my design and mounted it onto some black and white card I have in my stash. All finished off with some ribbon and flowers the card candy middles.

CHNC Challenge 24 - Buttons

The CHNC Challenge this week is Buttons.

I've used a Penny Black stamp and embellished this with snowflakes topped with buttons.

Bah Humbug 23 - Whateva!!

Humbug Hall this week has broken out in spots and its all about Teenagers!

I've made this card with teenagers in mind. The image stamp is by Penny Black and the sentiment by Elusive Images. The backing paper is from Beatrix Potter A Winter's Tale CD from Crafters Companion.

I used a grand nestability to cut the large circle from silver mirri card and folded it in half to make the base of my card.

Cupcake 145 - Things with Tails

For Cupcake Craft's challenge this week of Things with Tails I chose this cute stamp that I won a while back.

I thought that the rainbow bp set it off just right as they walk through a shower to find the rainbow.

The stamp is by Imadagen Stamps and is called "Dimity - Dancing in the Rain" and was designed by Jan Garbutt.

Sir Stampalot June 2011 Challenge

I can't believe it's June and we are halfway through the year already!

The theme is poppies this month at Sir Stampalot. I've used a couple of lovely poppy backing papers from Joanna Sheen's Fans CD and also Diary of an Edwardian Lady. I've used a lovely poppy stamp by Elusive Images.

I've used Marianne dies to make the poppies and flourishes in the corners.

LOTV Challenge 100 - Anything Goes

It's LOTV's 100th challenge this week and the theme is Anything Goes.

I've been wanting to use my new sewing machine (pressie from OH) and decided I would do some stitching on this card together with lots of flowers and flourishes.

CD Sunday Challenge - If the Shoe Fits

CD Sunday have got a lovely challenge this week - If the Shoe Fits.

I've used a decoupage image from Crafters Companion Apply Dapply's Nursery Rhymes CD together with matching backing papers for my card this week.

I love these aqua tones and have used Marianne dies for the flourish and flowers together with some card candy (another favourite of mine) and matching ribbon.

CHNC Challenge 23 - Wintertime Blues

The challenge at CHNC this week is Wintertime Blues and I've used one of my favourite stamps for this card. I already had the paper left over from a previous project which was perfect for the backing and also to do some paper piecing for the image. I used Promarkers for the rest of the colouring.

Bah Humbug 22 - Surprise, surprise!

At Humbug Hall this week its full of surprises.

I have used the Spin a Disc template from BCE to make this card so that the stars move round in the night sky. The paper is from Plaid & Co Festive Resource CD by Kameo Cards.

The main image is from Lili of the Valley and I've coloured it using Promarkers.

CD Sunday Challenge - Digi Day

This is my first week as Guest Designer for CD Sunday for the month of June, which is really exciting. There is a great new challenge each Sunday.

I've used some nestie dies in my grand calibur to make a frame for this lovely digi image from Stitchy Bear Stamps which I've coloured with Promarkers. I passed some lilac cor'dinations card through the Cuttlebug in a Marianne Designs embossing folder and then lightly sanded it. The card is finished off with a pretty bow and a greeting from the Katy Sue Designs CD, Grandma's Button Box.

I also fell in love with this image from Stitchy Bear Stamps so I made a second card. Using Marianne Design Dies, Promarkers for colouring and Grandma's Button Box CD for the greeting.

I am looking forward to seeing all your cards this week using digi images. This was my first time using digi stamps and I really enjoyed using such lovely images.

Crafters Companion Challenge 13

This month at Crafters Companion the challenge is "Here Comes Summer"

I used a grand nestie circle to cut out the base of my card and folded it in half to make a rocking card. The frame for the image was cut using a Marianne die. The image is from Cute Companions CD1 and I then stamped the characters onto nee nah card and coloured using promarkers.
