Aged to Perfection - CD Sunday
We have a new theme at CD Sunday for you this week - Aged to Perfection which was chosen by Sue-B. Lots of scope with this one to do lots of things :-).
Sadly it is Gloria's last week as our GDT, but hasn't she been amazing - please visit her blog and leave some love.
My fellow teamies have some amazing inspiration for you too.
The base of my card is from what used to be Cupcake Crafting (now Creative Crafting World) and is one of their fancy cut cards. I have used some distress ink to soften the white card. My main image of Betty Boop came from a CD I got on ebay and despite her age I think you will agree she is still lookin' good!
The loopy background was done using Martha Stewart punches. I then took a piece of card and enbossed it with a cogs design. I then rubbed over the raised surface with a Versamark ink pad and sprinkled some verdigris embossing powder over it and heat set it. The sentiment is a rubber stamp again using the same embossing powder. The circular die is by Spellbinders and the die cut bow by Lil' Inker Designs at the top has a buckle threaded through.
I'm also entering this card in the following challenge:

Go Green at CD Sunday
The theme for CD Sunday this week is Go Green and for me this meant recycling. Here is what I recycled:
I also used a CD that hasn't seen the light of day for a long time - Sharon Duncan Country Kids
The backing paper is one that I printed out then over-printed with a different design to create my own special paper. I die cut the flower using a Marianne heart die.
I hope you have fun with our challenge this week and feel free to interpret Go Green any which way.

One for the Boys
The theme for Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog for the month of May is Masculine. I have used Crafter's Companion Hobbies CD for this card which I made for a work colleague to give her husband for his birthday.
I used an Epiphany punch and clear dome to make the speed dial and added some glitter to the champagne bubbles.

Feeling Blue
Here is my card for the HMFMC #144 Feeling Blue Challenge.
I've used a backing paper from A Touch of Elegance CD from Cupcake. I used two different dies to make the bow. The main die is from Crafter's Companion and the flowers are a Spellbinder die. I think our little mousy friend looks chilled and ready for a lovely summer. I coloured him using Spectrum Noir pens.

Ornate Blossom - CD Sunday
This week at CD Sunday Challenge Blog our theme is Ornate Blossom chosen by Christine. I have used a backing paper from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Inserts CD and punched the border using a Martha Stewart punch. The main image is actually a decoupage sheet that I had already made up of two little mice sleeping in the flowers. The vellum leaves and sentiment come from a kit by Dawn Bibby bought from QVC a very long time ago that I am still trying to use up.
We still have our Guest Design Team member for May – Gloria (Misty’s Mum) so please do go and visit her.
I'm looking forward to seeing your Ornate Blossoms this week. xx

Weddings - CD Sunday
My card this week is made using Crisalis Classics by Crafter's Companion for the main image of this beautiful bride. It is mounted onto a spellbinder shape. The background is a 8 x 8 embossing folder from Crafter's Companion and I just added a couple of die cuts and a gem. Keeping it simple this week.
As it is the first Sunday of a new month we welcome our Guest Design Team member for May – Gloria (Misty’s Mum).
Please do pop over to CD Sunday Challenge Blog and see what everyone has been doing this week.
