Autumn in the garden seems to have come early this year. It has meant that we have been busy picking our apples. Unfortunately I had a bit of a mishap two weeks ago, lost my balance and ended up with the garden furniture breaking my fall. This was the bruising down my left side. Good job I wasn't up a ladder at the time!

Thankfully the bruises are fading now and I've been using Arnica Cream twice a day which has helped.
Anyway it didn't stop the Apple Chutney production for this year.
I also decorated some little gift bags for the jars I am giving to friends. I made the labels using an on-line site called https://www.jamlabelizer.com/browseThis site has a range of different labels and colours, some of which are free to use and print on your home printer.
As we had more apples left over I decided to make some Apple and Damson Jam which I am quite pleased with.
We don't have a Damson tree in our little garden but our lovely Greengrocer has them for sale at this time of year. It's a bit fiddly getting the stones out of the fruit but the end result is worth it.
It's a more grown up version of Jam and not too overly sweet.
