Little Boys - CD Sunday

CD Sunday's theme for this week is Little Boys which can be interpreted in lots of ways as you will see from my fellow teamies over at the CD Sunday Challenge Blog.

I used Crafters Companion Moorheads CD for the backing paper printed onto some of their lovely centura pearl paper. The main image was stamped onto Neenah card and I then used spectrum noir pens for the colouring and did some paper piecing for his clothes. I used my Cricut to cut the 1 Today out of a self adhesive peel off sheet that has been in my craft room for a very long time!

Shop Till You Drop

This week Jenny has chosen our theme for the CD Sunday Challenge which is Shop Till You Drop. I used an image from Crafters Companion Frou Frou CD (as a few of my fellow teamies did too - fortunately all the cards are quite different! lol).

I started with a 6 x 6 base card and added an ornate corner die cut. I then used acetate to make a wrap. I attached the printed sheet from the CD to the acetate along with a happy birthday peel off.

Scentimental - CD Sunday

As we are at the start of a new month (I just can't believe this year is going so quickly!) we have a sponsor for this week.  Jem's Designs have agreed to sponsor us again and this time their Scentimental CD is the prize. Jem's Designs very kindly gave each of us a CD to work with and I hope you will enjoy seeing all the different things we have done over at CD Sunday Challenge Blog.

We also have a new guest for the month of September -  Anne. You can find her blog here -  Stargroves so please visit her and leave some love.

Just wanted to also thank Linby for all her lovely work through August :-)

Now here is my card for this week using Jem's Designs Scentimental CD.

I used corrugated kraft card for the base as I wanted a really vintage feel for this one. I've added lots of die cuts and pearls. The ivy die cuts by Marrianne are some of my favourites at the moment. I think it is part of their Christmas range but in different colours they can be used for lots of occasions :-)

Have fun and I'll come and visit you during the week.

On the Beach with CD Sunday

Looks like its going to be another lovely sunny day so perfect for our theme this week of On the Beach which was chosen by Caz.

I've used a couple of backing papers and toppers from a CD called Nostalgia by Joanna Sheen. I've used a set of dies to make the bunting and threaded them together with bakers twine.

I'm busy chosing my top 3 from last week's challenge which will be posted over on the CD Sunday Challenge Blog later in the week. Don't forget to check to see if it is you :-)

Add a Number - CD Sunday

This week our theme at CD Sunday is "Add a Number" which was chosen by me. There are so many occasions when it is nice to add a number to a card. I will have a small prize for my chosen winner so get thinking about how you could add a number and join us in our challenge this week.

I used Pamela West Collection CD by Joanna Sheen for my card this week. This cheeky little westie is baking cupcakes - yummmmm.

Don't forget to visit my teamies and our GDT for this month - Linby

Transportation - CD Sunday

This week the theme at CD Sunday Challenge Blog is Transportation and this has been chosen by Linby  our GDT for the month of September. She has also very kindly offered a sponsorship prize for this week so do go over to CD Sunday to find out what one lucky person will win.

I've used the House Mouse Triple CD by Joanna Sheen for my card this week. The flower and leaf dies that look stitched are from Marianne and I really like the effect of these - I've used them a lot lately. It's funny how some dies I buy I want to use on everything and others that I think I cannot live without never come out of the packet. lol!

The border punch is a lovely one by Martha Stewart. I've stuck happy birthday peel offs to the ribbon.

There are lots of different forms of transport out there and we would like to see them all so please do join in.
