Spring Cleaning
I've coloured this stamped image using Spectrum Noir alcohol pens. I then used a Sakura Glaze Pen for the bubbles and splashes. The backing paper for this card is from House Mouse Inserts CD by Joanna Sheen. The flowers are punched using Petal Pairs punches and the frame is a Spellbinder die.
I'm entering this card in HMFMC 142 - Springtime

Thank you - CD Sunday
This week our theme at CD Sunday Challenge is Thank you! - useful for so many occasions.
I've used papers and elements from Crafters Companion - Angelica and Friends CD. The elements all look very 3D but are all printed and therefore very useful for making flat cards for sending through the post :-)
My teamies have been busy with their thank yous so do go over to CD Sunday and take a look. We also have our Guest Designer -Margaret with us. Margaret has not been well and we all wish her a speedy recovery. Despite being unwell she has still managed to make a fantastic card this week so do visit her blog and leave some love. xx

Through the Window - CD Sunday
Good Morning and welcome to CD Sunday and hopefully if all has gone well and I haven't pressed any wrong buttons it won't be a new look CD Sunday.
There is such a lot to tell you that I think you may need a coffee and a comfortable seat.
Thank you to everyone who joined in my challenge theme last week - my top three will be announced later in the week so do check back on the CD Sunday Challenge blog to find out the winner.
We have a new Design Team Member - Sue from Sue's Crafty Corner joining us this week. Please all join me in giving her a great big welcome and I'm sure you will enjoy seeing her work each week as much as us.
We also have a new Guest Designer for April - Margaret of Margaret's Designer Cards - so there are lots of places to visit for amazing inspiration for our challenges.
Our Carol is sponsoring this month as she will be celebrating a special birthday The prize for the best card will be a current CD of the winners choice to the value of £15.99. The team will be choosing the winning card instead of the random selection button.

I have used Holly Pond Hill by Joanna Sheen again this week. There are so many lovely images and backing papers on this CD. The flowers are petal pairs punches with pearls added in the middle. I used some fancy peel offs to frame the whole thing (part of my campaign to use what I've got!).
I hope you enjoy our challenge this week and I look forward to seeing your creations.

Sugar & Spice - CD Sunday
Ooo morning everyone, Happy Easter and welcome to the start of British Summer Time! I hope you all remembered to put your clocks forward and turn the heating up to cope with the unseasonally cold weather!!!
It's my turn to choose the theme for CD Sunday this week and as it is Easter I've chosen Sugar and Spice. OK own up - who had chocolate for breakfast?
Please feel free to interpret the theme in whichever way you want.

I have used Holly Pond Hill by Joanna Sheen for the backing paper and topper for my card. I used a Britannia die to cut out the letters. The three epoxy stickers were made using an Epiphany punch. I then raided my craft room and found some vellum die cut flowers and leaves from a very old Dawn Bibby kit that remained practically untouched. I'm on a bit of a mission this year to use things instead of them languishing in boxes!
Please pop along and visit my fellow teamies and our GDT Marina, to see their interpretations of our theme this week.

Bundle of Joy - CD Sunday
I'm sooooo sorry I'm late with my post this week for our challenge at CD Sunday. I've had a busy few days two of which were spent at the NEC craft show followed by an indian wedding reception last night. I woke this morning with what feels like the start of a cold. I might have been overdoing things a bit!
Anyway my card this week uses Baby Love CD by Joanna Sheen and I made it for a friend at work who is about to have her baby very soon. The dies are by Spellbinders and I added some ribbon and a little charm just to finish off.
As it is springtime (despite the weather!) I'm sure there will be lots of little bundles of joy in all sorts of shapes and sizes that will inspire your cards. :-)

Wonderful Wings - CD Sunday
The DT call at CD Sunday is open for the next couple of weeks before we chose a new member of our team.
In the meantime we have a new challenge for you this week - Wonderful Wings. This one should be good as there are so many ways to interpret this as you will see from my fellow teamies and our GDT, Marina, on the CD Sunday Challenge Blog.
Here is my card:
I made this for our Granddaughter, Sienna.
I have used two coordinating backing papers from Flower Fairies Friends CD by Crafters Companion. I stamped the main image using Momento ink onto Neenah card and coloured it in using Spectrum Noir pens. I used Spellbinders dies to cut the shape and also for the sentiment. I edged these using a gold calligraphy pen. The butterfly border is done in gold mirri card using a Martha Stewart punch. The whole thing is matted onto gold mirri and mounted onto an 8 x 8 card. The holographic number is a peel off that I have had in my stash for years!
I hope you have fun with this one and look forward to visiting you. xx

Land of the Pharaohs - CD Sunday
Having recently come back from a wonderful holiday in Egypt I loved making my card for this week's CD Sunday challenge.
I decided to use an image and backing paper from Debbi Moore's Egyptian Promise CD. I used a mixture of Marianne and Spellbinder dies and lots of gems. I also used Crafter's Companion Epiphany punches to make the epoxy embellishments out of some extra images I had left over. I used a quickie glue pen to write over the sentiment and then covered it with glitter just to add even more sparkles.
My fellow teamies and our lovely GDT member, Marina have lots to show you so please do visit their blogs and leave some nice comments for them. :-)
I'm looking forward to seeing your Egyptian creations this week.
