Just Magnolia this week is Gingham. I used a sheet of backing paper by Papermania called Portobello Road which has a shabby chic appearance. I then die cut the weathered clock by Tim Holtz and used distress inks, Spun Sugar and Milled Lavender to colour it. The hands are held in place using a brad. The die cut swirls are from a sheet of paper I marbled using shaving foam with inks dropped into it and swirling the paper over the top. Its a bit messy to do but great fun as you never know what patterns you will end up with.
I stamped out my Tilda stamp and coloured her using alcohol pens and some paper piecing for her dress and hair ribbon. The paper flowers and gems are from my stash.
