Flower Power

The latest challenge on the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog is Flower Power and this is my card made using the Enchanted Dreams CD. I used a doily to frame the decoupage image and added a charm and some ribbon.

Chocolate, Cream and one other colour

I've chosen a soft blue/grey as my other colour for our theme at CD Sunday this week. The main image comes from Joanna Sheen's Hollywood CD. I created the background using a mask and distress inks. I then gave it a spritz with a mica spray. The shape for the topper and sentiment were cut using a Spellbinders die.

This card was made for a colleague at work who had a birthday this week.

Now its your turn. I can't wait to visit your blogs and see what colour you chose to go with Chocolate and Cream.

Anything Goes

The message at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge is to "Grab some Tea for an Anything Goes Challenge"!

I decided to make another Christmas card to get ahead of the game and also because I had a new Marianne die arrive today and couldn't wait to use it. I've cut the 'Merry Christmas' using silver mirror card and am so pleased that they have now released some words that can be die cut. I've got a Cricut machine to cut letters and some text but this is much quicker and easier:-).

This stamped House Mouse image is from Joanna Sheen's rubber stamps and coloured using alcohol pens. I used two Spellbinders dies to cut the frame plate. The lovely spotty ribbon is by Three Kings Ribbon and the bp is from a Papermania pack called Contemporary Christmas.

Thank you for looking.

Four Legged Friends

I've used an image from Joanna Sheen's Furry Friends CD. The backing paper is a House Mouse design. The Greeting stamp is from Crafter's Companion Paintbox Poppets range. I finished my card with some ribbon and charms.

I'm entering this card for the Crafter's Companion blog challenge - "Four Legged Friends".

Someone Special

I've used an image from the Mabel Lucie Attwell CD by Katy Sue Designs and a bp from Humphrey's Corner by Crafters Companion which I used in the colouriser programme to alter the shading to match my card. I used my favourite Martha Stewart punch around the page (actually its the one I seem to get best results with so I use it a lot!). The little die cut butterflies are made using a Cheery Lyn die.

I'm entering this card in the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog with their theme "Someone Special".

Sweets for my Sweet

Our theme at CD Sunday this week is Sweets for my Sweet and I couldn't resist this cute image from Joanna Sheen's Precious Petals CD. The backing paper is from the same CD. I used a Martha Stewart punch around the page to frame the babies in a chocolate box. A piece of lace and some flowers with gems finish this one off.

My teamies have made some great cards for you to enjoy this week. I do hope you will join us this week and I look forward to visiting your blogs again this week.

Ring a Roses

I've used a very old Joanna Sheen CD for the image and backing paper on this card. It's called Victorian Birthdays and has some lovely images on it. I chose the roses as our theme over at CD Sunday this week is Ring a Roses. I do hope you will join us this week and show us what you can do :-).

It's a Man's World

It's a Man's World at the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog this month and as a friend will be celebrating a birthday with a 0 on the end I thought this would fit the bill. The backing paper and image are from Joanna's Victorian Birthdays CD. I took the image into word on my computer to add the frame around the image and the text underneath. I decided to keep this one really simple and just add a little card candy.

Toybox Treasures

Toybox Treasures is CD Sunday's theme for this week.

For my card I've used a backing paper from Joanna Sheen's Baby Love CD. The stamped images were from Graphicus (Glenda Waterworth). I used promarkers to colour the bears.

Why not have a look and see what else was in the toy box this week at CD Sunday and show us what you can do. I look forward to visiting your blogs to see all the lovely creations you make for us.

April Showers

It's the start of a new month so that means that Debs at Debbees CDs Delights Challenge Blog has some lovely new papers for everyone to download and make a card for this month's challenge. We have some really fun papers for this month and I've made a stepper easel card and included some teabag folding too!

All the DT have had fun making this month's inspiration for you so all we need you to do now is join us!

All Sewn Up

Well here we are at the start of another month at CD Sunday Challenge which means we have a lovely sponsor this week and for this month it is Debs of Debbees CDs and we on the DT have had some lovely papers and images to work with. We have some amazing designs to share with you so do pop over to CD Sunday and check them all out. As its a new month we also have a new Guest Designer joining us and this month it is Colleen. Welcome Colleen and I hope you enjoy your month with us.

I decided to make an easel card using Debs papers and decoupage the cute mousie image. I then went mad and raided my button stash to decorate the spellbinder die cut circle that I used to mount my main image.

Don't forget to check out what my teamies have been up to this week.
