Wish you were here

Welcome to June and a new challenge at Debbees CD's Challenge. There are some fun, summertime papers for you to download for free and work with this month and my fellow teamies and I are looking forward to visiting your blogs and seeing what you have made. As always there is a prize for the winner from Debs.

I started by using one of the large Spellbinder dies to cut my base card and folded this in half. I then used a smaller die to cut the backing paper (I love this one with the sunglasses on but Debs has generously provided lots more to choose from for your design). I cut a smaller shape from the same card and then cut the picture slightly smaller again. Wish I had invented these dies, they are such a must have in all the shapes and all the sizes! I decided to just decoupage the leaves on the palm trees so that these are slightly outside the frame. To finish I used some raffia and bakers twine together with a couple of paper flowers and pearls. I also used an old Sizzix die to cut the shell and added a little glitter.

I don't know what that bird is drinking but he looks to me as if one more and he will be doing a back flip out of that hammock! lol!

Sadly, this will be the last challenge from Debbees for the foreseeable.

Debbees Fans

Debs has got some wonderful free downloadable papers for you to play with this month. You will find them here. Don't forget to check out what my fellow teamies have made for you.

The base card was made using a sheet of Papermania Capsule Collection Textured Cardstock from the Midnight Monochrome pack. I found the instructions for the Bendy Fold Card here. I then decorated my card using two sheets of the backing papers that Debs has given us. I then printed out the toppers sheet and cut out the fans, decorated them with lots of glitter, pearls and a TASSLE!!!!

"Yukky Love Stuff "

We have some beautiful papers for you to download over at Debbees Challenge Blog for this month. The theme is "Yukky Love Stuff" so why not go over and have a look at the projects the rest of the DT have made for you this month.

I decided to make a shaker card using micro beads which make a fabulous swishy noise. The punched border along the bottom is a Martha Stewart punch and I have used a narrow silk ribbon tied in a double bow.

All girlies love to shop!

Happy New Year everyone and welcome to a brand new challenge blog. I am thrilled to be part of a brand new DT and my teamies and I are very excited about our launch into the big wide world. Please visit Debbees Delights Blog to find out all about it.

Debs gave us these lovely papers and images to play with. I decided to join to 5 x 5 square cards to make a double opening card. I've used the two shop front scenes with lots of added glitter and two raised up little girlies enjoying a day out shopping.

Why not visit here to play along. We are looking forward to visiting you to see your creations.
