I've used Joanna Sheen's Times Gone By CD for the image on this card. The theme chosen by Sue T at CD Sunday Challenge Blog this week is "We are Sailing" and I decided to make a Christmas card. I started with some snow white card and an Embossilicious folder from Crafter's Companion for the background. The anchor die is from Marianne dies and I created the words on the computer in Word.
I think this image would also make a nice birthday card for a man with a different background.
Don't forget to visit the CD Sunday Challenge Blog to join in this week.

3 D's
This week at CD Sunday it is Carol's turn to choose the theme for the week (actually two weeks as we are in December and everyone is very busy at this time of year). Carol has chosen 3 D's - DL card, Dies and Decoupage.
Here is my card:

I've used a CD called Here Come the Girls by Creative Crafting World. The image I used is a digi from the CD which I coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. I love this CD and if I ever finish making Christmas cards I'm going to use this next!
Have fun!

Home Sweet Home
It's Beryl's turn to choose the theme for CD Sunday this week and she has chosen Home Sweet Home.
I decided to take the Sweet part literally and went with an image and backing paper from Christmas in Holly Pond Hill CD by Joanna Sheen.
As we are all so busy this time of year we have given you two weeks for this challenge.

Jude's First Christmas
This is the card I made for our latest Grandson's first Christmas.
I made this using a BCE template. The baby's 1st Christmas paper was printed from a CD by Graphicizm. The letters were stamped and embossed using stamps by Dimension Fourth and I used Crystal Lacquer on them. A Spellbinder die and MS punch made the snowflake and I dipped a foam heart in glitter for the center.
I'm entering this in the following challenge at Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes.
This is a new challenge blog and is their first challenge. I wish them lots of success and fun along the way.

F is for ...
... Festive Fun. Caz chose our theme this week.
For my card art CD Sunday Challenge Blog this week I've chosen this image from La Pashe Christmas with the Wrinklies. I ran the backing paper through an embossing folder (Tied Together) and attached small gems all over. I cut out the main image and edged it with a gold peel off after mounting it on a die cut Spellbinder bauble. I then added a bow and a couple of dies. The fir branch is by Marianne and the pine cone from Joanna Sheen's Signature Dies.
Don't forget to visit the CD Sunday blog for more inspiration and details of how to enter.

Simply Square
Jenny has chosen the challenge this week at CD Sunday and she has chosen Simply Square. I think square is my favourite shape for cards :-) so thank you Jenny for choosing this challenge.
I used Christmas in Holly Pond Hill CD for my image and backing paper. Not all of the images are "too cute" and I think this little bird delivering a present is lovely. The dies I've used are a square one by Spellbinders, ivy corners are a Marianne die and the one at the back is a honeycomb die by Simon Says Stamp.
I hope you will be able to join us this week.

Pennant Parade
This week at the CD Sunday Challenge it is Sue's turn to choose our theme of the week and she has chosen Pennant Parade. As you will see all the team have had fun with this one so I do hope you will feel inspired to join in.
Here is my card for this week:
I used Popcorn the Bear CD by Crafters Companion for the backing paper and paper piecing on the main stamped image. I coloured Popcorn using Spectrum Noir pens. They have a blog with some useful tutorials about colouring their images which is useful to refer to if you are not sure how to get started. The heart banner is made using a die by La La Land.
I do hope you will join us again this week, we had some super entries for our challenge last week and I have the difficult task of picking the top three so don't forget to check back next Sunday on the CD Sunday Challenge blog. xx

Stripey
It's my turn to choose the theme for CD Sunday this week and I've chosen STRIPEY. Hopefully everyone will be able to find something stripey on a CD and join in this week.
Here is my card:
I used Pollyanna Pickering's British Wildlife CD for my paper and image this week. After printing off the backing paper I used a Crafter's Companion embossing folder to give it some texture and then rubbed over the top with a distress ink. The die cut vase and flowers and Tattered Lace dies. The ivy corners are a Marianne die.
Sorry to be so late posting today but I've not been feeling too well. Don't forget to visit the CD Sunday Challenge Blog for lots more inspiration.

Christine has chosen the theme for us this week at CD Sunday which is Travels Abroad which hopefully will give you lots of ideas.
We still have WYNN with us as Guest Designer so don't forget to visit her blog along with all my fellow teamies. You will find their links over on the CD Sunday blog.
I made this card for my MIL who is 91 and recently went on a cruise around the Med. The main image is from Robert Aadams vintage transport and the backing paper is from Debbie Moore Shabby Chic Vintage Travel.
Don't forget to use something from a CD and tell us which one you used.

Fox & Friends
This week at CD Sunday it was the turn of Sue T to choose our theme and it is Fox & Friends. I decided to make a different shape card this week and have used Magical Christmas Moment CD from Creative Crafting World. I love this CD as it has lots of animal scenes for Christmas. As you can see little foxy and his friends are all admiring the Christmas tree.
I do hope you will find time to join us this week and look forward to visiting.
I'm entering the following challenges:

This week CD Sunday Challenge Blog have another new challenge - Butterfly. I'm sure everyone will have lots of ideas for this one. All you have to do to join in is to use an element from a CD and let us know which CD you have used. Why not visit CD Sunday and check it out.
We have a guest designer, Wynn, with us for the month and she has a beautiful butterfly to show you.
I have used Joanna Sheen's Ivory Cats CD for my card which is 7 x 10. The flowers were made using Petal Pairs punches by Tonic. I then used cats eye ink pads to add some colour to the petals before using a ball tool to shape the petals.
Then I made a gift bag to match.
I do hope you join us this week and look forward to visiting your blog. :-)
I'm also entering this in the following challenges:
The Squirrel and The Fox - Challenge 54 Things with Wings
Totally Gorjuss - Things with Wings

To the Moon and Back with CD Sunday
Here we are in October already and that means a new month and a sponsor for this week. We have all been busy with images and papers from Creative Crafting so do pop over to CD Sunday Challenge Blog and see all the different things the team have done for you this week and find out how to enter. We also have a new GDT so make sure you check out their blog too.
I decided to make a rocker card this week as I thought the little fairy was rocking to and fro on the moon. :-) I love the colours on these images. I used Spellbinder dies to cut the main card and also to mount the image. The flowers are also from the collection so all I needed to add was one die cut swirl, some glitter, bakers twine and a little charm of the moon and stars.
Have fun.

1950s - CD Sunday
I love the theme this week for our CD Sunday Challenge that has been chosen by Carol. I knew straightaway that I just had to use this image from Joanna Sheen's Hollywood Vintage CD using what is probably the most iconic photo of the time of Marilyn Monroe.
I used a very early sizzix die to make the film strip. I used dies and punches for the flowers and swirls and couldn't resist adding some feathers.
I was having so much fun I then went on to decorate a gift bag to go with it.
Don't forget to visit the CD Sunday Challenge Blog and check out what our GDT and my fellow teamies have to show you.

Snow People at CD Sunday
Our theme for CD Sunday Challenge Blog this week has been chosen by Beryl and is Snow People and I've used an image and backing papers from the Snow Globes CD by Flower Soft to make this shaker card.
I'm just off out but have scheduled this so will try and post more later in the week. Do
take a look at what my fellow teamies have been up top.

Apple Chutney
Sunday morning here was bright and sunny so we decided it was time to pick the apples in the garden. It has been a bumper crop this year due to the good weather. It was a good job we acted when we did as the weather turned in the afternoon and was raining and blowing a gale and our apple crop would have all been on the ground!
I have been busy in the kitchen cooking this year's batch of Apple Chutney. Thanks to the Apple Master (a great little gadget that peels, cores and slices all in one) it didn't take me anywhere near as long this year to prepare 4 lbs of apples. Thanks go to my friend Carol for the recipe and also letting me know about the Apple Master which comes from Lakeland.
I've been busy with filling jars and labeling this morning and here is the end result:

Little Boys - CD Sunday
CD Sunday's theme for this week is Little Boys which can be interpreted in lots of ways as you will see from my fellow teamies over at the CD Sunday Challenge Blog.
I used Crafters Companion Moorheads CD for the backing paper printed onto some of their lovely centura pearl paper. The main image was stamped onto Neenah card and I then used spectrum noir pens for the colouring and did some paper piecing for his clothes. I used my Cricut to cut the 1 Today out of a self adhesive peel off sheet that has been in my craft room for a very long time!

Shop Till You Drop
This week Jenny has chosen our theme for the CD Sunday Challenge which is Shop Till You Drop. I used an image from Crafters Companion Frou Frou CD (as a few of my fellow teamies did too - fortunately all the cards are quite different! lol).
I started with a 6 x 6 base card and added an ornate corner die cut. I then used acetate to make a wrap. I attached the printed sheet from the CD to the acetate along with a happy birthday peel off.

Scentimental - CD Sunday
As we are at the start of a new month (I just can't believe this year is going so quickly!) we have a sponsor for this week. Jem's Designs have agreed to sponsor us again and this time their Scentimental CD is the prize. Jem's Designs very kindly gave each of us a CD to work with and I hope you will enjoy seeing all the different things we have done over at CD Sunday Challenge Blog.
We also have a new guest for the month of September - Anne. You can find her blog here - Stargroves so please visit her and leave some love.
Just wanted to also thank Linby for all her lovely work through August :-)
Now here is my card for this week using Jem's Designs Scentimental CD.
I used corrugated kraft card for the base as I wanted a really vintage feel for this one. I've added lots of die cuts and pearls. The ivy die cuts by Marrianne are some of my favourites at the moment. I think it is part of their Christmas range but in different colours they can be used for lots of occasions :-)
Have fun and I'll come and visit you during the week.

On the Beach with CD Sunday
Looks like its going to be another lovely sunny day so perfect for our theme this week of On the Beach which was chosen by Caz.
I've used a couple of backing papers and toppers from a CD called Nostalgia by Joanna Sheen. I've used a set of dies to make the bunting and threaded them together with bakers twine.
I'm busy chosing my top 3 from last week's challenge which will be posted over on the CD Sunday Challenge Blog later in the week. Don't forget to check to see if it is you :-)

Add a Number - CD Sunday
This week our theme at CD Sunday is "Add a Number" which was chosen by me. There are so many occasions when it is nice to add a number to a card. I will have a small prize for my chosen winner so get thinking about how you could add a number and join us in our challenge this week.
I used Pamela West Collection CD by Joanna Sheen for my card this week. This cheeky little westie is baking cupcakes - yummmmm.
Don't forget to visit my teamies and our GDT for this month - Linby

Transportation - CD Sunday
This week the theme at CD Sunday Challenge Blog is Transportation and this has been chosen by Linby our GDT for the month of September. She has also very kindly offered a sponsorship prize for this week so do go over to CD Sunday to find out what one lucky person will win.
I've used the House Mouse Triple CD by Joanna Sheen for my card this week. The flower and leaf dies that look stitched are from Marianne and I really like the effect of these - I've used them a lot lately. It's funny how some dies I buy I want to use on everything and others that I think I cannot live without never come out of the packet. lol!
The border punch is a lovely one by Martha Stewart. I've stuck happy birthday peel offs to the ribbon.
There are lots of different forms of transport out there and we would like to see them all so please do join in.

Garden Pleasures - CD Sunday
We have a lovely theme for you this week over at CD Sunday Challenge Blog and just right for all this lovely weather we have been having. It's Garden Pleasures. Lots of scope with this one so I do hope you will all join in.
Here's what I decided to do:
I used a CD called Chantilly Flutterbys by Fee J Designs for the backing papers and main butterfly image I used as one of the things I love in the garden this time of year is to see the buterflies.
I used a hexagon shape for my card but I also decided to make a paper mache bowl. I had seen the idea in a copy of Craft Stamper earlier this year and had a lot of fun tearing strips of paper and gluing them in layers to an old bowl that I had coated in petroleum jelly and then covered with cling film (this made it easier to remove my bowl once it was all dry). For the last layer inside and out I used the pretty backing papers off the CD. Once it was all done I used Crafters Companion Spray and Shine to give it a protective coat.
I can't wait to see what pretty things you make this week.

CD Sunday Dreams and Dragons
Our theme this week for CD Sunday is Dreams and Dragons chosen by Sue T. At first I was a bit stuck but then I remembered one of my favourite images from a Peerless Designs CD called Pixie Dreams. I love the backing paper that goes with this image too. I used a dragon image from another Peerless Designs CD called Woodland Fantasy and used Craft Artist to put the two together. I used some pale green sparkly stuff to mat and layer. I say stuff because it isn't card and it isn't really paper as it has a plasticy feel to it. Velvet ribbon threaded with a buckle, a couple of pearl dragonflies and a lovely swirly die to finish.
I hope you will have fun with this one and don't forget to visit my fellow teamies and our fab GD for this month, Tess.

CD Sunday - Christmas in July
With the hottest few days we have had in a very long time it seems a bit strange thinking about Christmas but as us crafters know we need to start early!
I used Magical Christmas Moments CD by Creative Crafting World for my card this week:
I've used a few Marianne dies to finish. The snowflake is a combination of the new Crafters Companion dies and a Martha Stewart punch.
There are lots of lovely things to view over at CD Sunday Challenge Blog this week too.

Hats - CD Sunday
Here comes summer! Well today is looking good anyway. I hope you have a chance to enjoy some golden rays wherever you are crafting today.
Its the start of yet another month at CD Sunday so we have to say goodbye to our GDT member for June - Wynn. Didn't she make some fabulous things to share with us.
We have a new guest joining us for July and it is lovely to have Tess, a previous design team member. with us for the whole month.
We have a sponsor this week too. Jem's Designs have kindly agreed to sponsor our challenge and will be giving this week's winner a cd from their collection.
Jem's have very generously given the team a cd each to work with so here is my card using the lovely Hatbox Confections CD from Jem's Designs.
There are lots of lovely designs and colours to choose from and I decided to use the folder Cherry Crush.
I started with an 8 x 8 blank card and printed out one of the backing sheets (there are lots of lovely ones to choose from). I then printed out a page containing a topper and decoupage. I mounted the image onto some coordinating card and them added the decoupage, feathers and gems.

CD Sunday Dance
I used Strictly Card Dancers CD for this line dancing card. The backing paper is a sheet from a Joanna Sheet pad of A5 papers that I have had for ages and I used a plastic template for the little boots. The bow is made using plaited bakers twine. I had fun with this one and I hope you do too.
Don't forget to tell us which CD you have used over on the CD Sunday Challenge Blog and I look forward to coming and visiting you. Don't forget to visit my teamies and our GDT Wynn this week.

Charming!
I've just got a new computer and although it is really fast I still have a few things to get to grips with - scanning my cards being one of them!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway I'd like to enter this in the HMFMC147 - Anything Goes/With a Charm.
I used the new Joanna Sheen House Mouse triple CD for this image and backing paper for a friend at work who is moving to a new office in a couple of weeks.

CD Sunday - S is for ......
Our theme at CD Sunday this week is S is for .... so you can choose anything that begins with S :-). I chose Summer, Sea and Sailboat and used a backing paper and image from A Touch of Elegance CD by Cupcake Crafting. I decided to make a matching gift bag to go with this one. These are great little white bags with handles that are nice if you are giving a little present to go with the card and are also from Cupcake Crafting which changed its name recently to Creative Crafting World.
I used a mixture of Spell binder and Marianne dies and added some card candi and ribbon to finish.
Our GDT Wynn has more to show you this week so do drop by and say hello to her and my fellow teamies.

Kimono - CD Sunday
Good morning! I hope you all enjoyed last week's theme. I will be choosing my top three and the result will be posted on the CD Sunday Challenge Blog later in the week so please do pop over there for this week's challenge which was chosen by Caz and is Kimono.
I chose an image from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD. I used some of the left over backing paper to make some paper beads that I threaded onto bakers twine. I used gold mirri card to layer the paper onto and also used a lovely big Spellbinder die for the frame to the main image. Just to add a little more gold I used a quickie glue pen to pick out parts of the image and used a sheet of gold foiling over it. :-) To finish off I attached an oriental good luck charm.
We still have our GDT Wynn with us so please pop over to her blog and see the beautiful card she has for us this week, and don't forget my fellow teamies too they would love you to visit.

Father's Day
This is the card I made for our three cats Daisy, Bramble and Poppy to give to my husband for Father's Day!
I used Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Triple CD Collection for the image and backing paper. I have used dies by Spellbinders, Marianne and Britannia for the die cuts.
I'm entering this one in the following challenges:

Fine Plumage - CD Sunday
This week it is my turn to choose the theme at CD Sunday and I've gone for Fine Plumage. Feel free to interpret any way you like as long as you use something from a CD.
Here is mine:
I used Frou Frou from Crafters Companion for the backing paper and the paper piecing on the girls dresses. The main image is a rubber stamp that compliments the CD. The frame is a die cut. I used a petal pairs punch for the inner petals of the flowers and a left over piece of the backing paper.
Don't forget to visit our GDT Wynn at Sunshine Cards and Craft, and all my fellow teamies who have made some wonderful cards this week.

Faithful Friends - CD Sunday
Well here we are at the start of June - would someone care to tell the weather! We have had a little sunshine but we want more.
As it is a new month we have Ohh La La sponsoring us this week and all the team have been given images from their new CD to work with. I had this little chap - isn't he sweet. I've used one of the woven backing papers and matted him onto some black card. The paw print ribbon is from my stash. I used a small paw print stamp to emboss the three paw prints and used a small circular die to cut them out. The bow is a die by Lil' Inker Designs.
I have been away for a couple of days and didn't have a lot of time before I went so had to post quickly so now I am back and have a little more time I would like to welcome our GDT at CD Sunday for this month, Wynn - you will find her here Sunshine Cards and Craft .

Aged to Perfection - CD Sunday
We have a new theme at CD Sunday for you this week - Aged to Perfection which was chosen by Sue-B. Lots of scope with this one to do lots of things :-).
Sadly it is Gloria's last week as our GDT, but hasn't she been amazing - please visit her blog and leave some love.
My fellow teamies have some amazing inspiration for you too.
The base of my card is from what used to be Cupcake Crafting (now Creative Crafting World) and is one of their fancy cut cards. I have used some distress ink to soften the white card. My main image of Betty Boop came from a CD I got on ebay and despite her age I think you will agree she is still lookin' good!
The loopy background was done using Martha Stewart punches. I then took a piece of card and enbossed it with a cogs design. I then rubbed over the raised surface with a Versamark ink pad and sprinkled some verdigris embossing powder over it and heat set it. The sentiment is a rubber stamp again using the same embossing powder. The circular die is by Spellbinders and the die cut bow by Lil' Inker Designs at the top has a buckle threaded through.
I'm also entering this card in the following challenge:

The loopy background was done using Martha Stewart punches. I then took a piece of card and enbossed it with a cogs design. I then rubbed over the raised surface with a Versamark ink pad and sprinkled some verdigris embossing powder over it and heat set it. The sentiment is a rubber stamp again using the same embossing powder. The circular die is by Spellbinders and the die cut bow by Lil' Inker Designs at the top has a buckle threaded through.
I'm also entering this card in the following challenge:

Go Green at CD Sunday
The theme for CD Sunday this week is Go Green and for me this meant recycling. Here is what I recycled:
I also used a CD that hasn't seen the light of day for a long time - Sharon Duncan Country Kids
The backing paper is one that I printed out then over-printed with a different design to create my own special paper. I die cut the flower using a Marianne heart die.
I hope you have fun with our challenge this week and feel free to interpret Go Green any which way.

One for the Boys
The theme for Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog for the month of May is Masculine. I have used Crafter's Companion Hobbies CD for this card which I made for a work colleague to give her husband for his birthday.
I used an Epiphany punch and clear dome to make the speed dial and added some glitter to the champagne bubbles.

Feeling Blue
Here is my card for the HMFMC #144 Feeling Blue Challenge.
I've used a backing paper from A Touch of Elegance CD from Cupcake. I used two different dies to make the bow. The main die is from Crafter's Companion and the flowers are a Spellbinder die. I think our little mousy friend looks chilled and ready for a lovely summer. I coloured him using Spectrum Noir pens.

Ornate Blossom - CD Sunday
This week at CD Sunday Challenge Blog our theme is Ornate Blossom chosen by Christine. I have used a backing paper from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Inserts CD and punched the border using a Martha Stewart punch. The main image is actually a decoupage sheet that I had already made up of two little mice sleeping in the flowers. The vellum leaves and sentiment come from a kit by Dawn Bibby bought from QVC a very long time ago that I am still trying to use up.
We still have our Guest Design Team member for May – Gloria (Misty’s Mum) so please do go and visit her.
I'm looking forward to seeing your Ornate Blossoms this week. xx

Weddings - CD Sunday
My card this week is made using Crisalis Classics by Crafter's Companion for the main image of this beautiful bride. It is mounted onto a spellbinder shape. The background is a 8 x 8 embossing folder from Crafter's Companion and I just added a couple of die cuts and a gem. Keeping it simple this week.
As it is the first Sunday of a new month we welcome our Guest Design Team member for May – Gloria (Misty’s Mum).
Please do pop over to CD Sunday Challenge Blog and see what everyone has been doing this week.

Purple Paradise - CD Sunday
We've all gone purple for our challenge this week at CD Sunday with our theme Purple Paradise chosen by Wendy aka Purple Crazy.
We are at the end of another month and so, sadly, this will be the last week with Margaret as our Guest DT member. She has made a fabulously purple card this week so do please visit her blog :-)
For my card I used a CD I bought on Ebay recently with a whole load of fab Betty Boop images on it. I've a feeling I will be using this a lot! She is looking 'fabulous darling' mounted onto a purple mirri card frame using a Spellbinder die. I've used two embossing folders for the background. The bottom one uses cordinations card and has been sanded to reveal those luscious lips.
This is a fun one with lots of scope so I do hope you will join us this week.
We have a lovely sunny day here in the deep south so will be out to play later. x

Recycle
The new challenge at Joanna Sheen's Challenge Blog is recycle and this is what I have chosen to use:
1. Packaging from detox tea bags.
2. Ribbon from a box of chocolates.
3. The inside of a padded envelope.
.... and this is what I did with it:
I took the bubble wrap from the inside of the envelope, inked it up and then transferred it to a piece of card that I then cut to size using a Spellbinder die. I turned the ribbon over to hide the branded printing to make the ribbon border and bow. As this is an anniversary card I cut two die cut hearts from the tea box and inked the edges. The romantic couple are of course Mr & Mrs Messy. The tulips are cut using Marianne dies and the tulip heads were a bit of paper I experimented with using shaving foam and inks swirled into it.

CD Sunday - Majesty
Our theme this week at CD Sunday is Majesty as it is the Queen's birthday. It is also our teamie Carol's birthday today so please join me in wishing anyone with a birthday today a happy day. Carol has made a great card for this theme (along with all my fellow teamies and our GDT for this month Margaret, so please do visit their blogs and leave some love.
Here is my card for this week
I have used an image from the zodiac section of Enchanted Dreams CD (Josephine Wall artwork) by Joanna Sheen.
I matted the matching backing paper onto gold mirri card. I then used a Crafters Companion embossing border on Cordinations card and sanded it. I used this to layer the topper onto. The plate with the greeting is a Spellbinders die, the flourish is one of the new Pinflair dies and the die cut bow is by Lil' Inker Designs. The only other thing I added was a few gems. These images are so beautiful they don't need too much else.
I hope you enjoy our theme this week and look forward to visiting your blogs.

Flowers
I made this card using an image and matching bp from Crafters Companion CD Party Paws. I think this is a fabulous shoe. I have glittered the spots on the shoe for extra sparkle. The bow is die cut and the extra flowers were made using Petal Pairs punches.
I'm entering this card in Crafters Companion Challenge this month.
