Kimono - CD Sunday

Good morning! I hope you all enjoyed last week's theme. I will be choosing my top three and the result will be posted on the CD Sunday Challenge Blog later in the week so please do pop over there for this week's challenge which was chosen by Caz and is Kimono.

I chose an image from Joanna Sheen's  Oriental Dreams CD. I used some of the left over backing paper to make some paper beads that I threaded onto bakers twine. I used gold mirri card to layer the paper onto and also used a lovely big Spellbinder die for the frame to the main image. Just to add a little more gold I used a quickie glue pen to pick out parts of the image and used a sheet of gold foiling over it. :-) To finish off I attached an oriental good luck charm.

We still have our GDT Wynn with us so please pop over to her blog and see the beautiful card she has for us this week, and don't forget my fellow teamies too they would love you to visit.

  1. Stunning card Jocelyn, a super image and the touches of gold compliment it so well. Not tried using quickie glue pen with gold foil so thanks for the tip.
