As we are in the middle of a heatwave here this week's challenge chosen by Wynn is very appropriate - especially as I live by the sea :-)
I've used a 5 x 7" card for this design. The backing paper and images are from Holly Pond Hill CD by Joanna Sheen. I've matted everything onto blue card and them added Marianne dies for the lighthouse, shells and seagull.
Talking of seagulls we have lots here at the moment and all the fluffy chicks have just hatched. We have some that live on the flat roof at the back of the office that have been adopted by the girls I work with. The parents even knock on the window for biscuits at coffee time! They have been coming back for about 3 years now.
Anyway I digress - my fellow teamies have some fab things to show you so please visit CD Sunday Challenge Blog to check out how to enter.
Beautiful card, love the images and embellishments
ReplyDeleteLovely card Jocelyn. I am not sure about your seagulls as they can be a bit aggressive. At least the ones that live in Cornwall where my parents lived. Dive bombing people was quite their thing.

I love this card Jocelyn. The colour blue for the mats is the perfect shade and compliments the colours in the images beautifully.

I love your card Jocelyn. I have this cd and haven't used it nearly enough. Great choice of image and a lovely selection of die cuts. A fabulous card.

What a fabulous layout Jocelyn. I'm with Carol on the seagull front. My friends son was badly attacked in St Lucia recently from seagulls. He was eating and they swooped down and pecked at his head. What a shock he got and was very distressed. Like them on cards tho lol Love this scene too and I used it earlier in the year for a challenge....not sure which one. I hope you're enjoying the sunshine in the UK. We are having a heat wave here. Phewwww it's hot! Hugs Wynn xx
