Tea Party
I used a template to cut out the tea cup shape from pale blue pearlised card. I've used a piece of backing paper printed from Joanna Sheen's Victorian Flowers CD that I had left over from another project (this is one of her very early CDs but still very useful for very pretty images and backing papers). I stamped this lovely House Mouse image and coloured it using Promarkers and then cut it out and attached it using foam pads. The border was cut using a Spellbinders die. The words "Tea Party" were created on my computer and finished with silk ribbon and gems.
This card is being entered in the HMFMC116 "Let's Have a Party".

Spring has Sprung
At CD Sunday this week it's my turn to choose the theme and I picked Spring has Sprung. With all this lovely sunshine and lots of daffodils all in bloom I hope you are all feeling springy and ready for our challenge.
I started with a 10x7 base card and used a backing paper from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Inserts CD (a very useful CD). The main scene is from Adorables Summer Collection by Crafters Companion which I printed onto textured paper giving a watercoloured feel to it. I've matted and layered the scene and added two stamped and coloured Messy Rabbit characters from Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit rubber stamp collection. The grass was made using a Marianne die and for the flowers I used a punch and some card candy.
Do call in over at the CD Sunday Challenge Blog to see what the rest of my talented teamies have made for you. It is also the last week for our Guest Designer, Pamela, and she has made another lovely project for you.
I hope you all remembered to "Spring Forward" with the clocks last night!

How does your garden grow?
I've used Spellbinder dies to make the base shape and layers for this card. The leaves are a Magnolia die and the fence is a Marianne die, the flowers are made using punches. Tilda is coloured using alcohol pens and some paper piecing. The various green backing papers were from my 'bits box' as they were remnants left over from previous projects.

Dots, Spots and more Dots!
This week's theme at CD Sunday is Spots and Dots and I do hope you will visit the challenge blog to see the lovely things my teamies have made this week and then join in our challenge.
I've used Joanna Sheen's Precious Petals CD for my spotty, dotty backing papers. The birds are Marianne dies and I have used Cordinations card for the birds and layers. The punch around the page is by Martha Stewart. I used a Spellbinder die to stamp the sentiment on and used distress ink around the edges. Finished off with some matching satin ribbon. The card is 8" x 8" which I find a good size for fitting on all the elements I wanted to incorporate. :-)

Photo Inspiration from HMFMC
There is a photo for inspiration at HMFMC this week and I've taken my inspiration from the colours :-)
I love this cheeky House Mouse rubber stamp (from Joanna Sheen) but I fear the snoozy little mouse is in for a shock any time now! lol
The gingham backing papers are by Joanna Sheen and have been layered onto dark brown card and finished off with pink gingham ribbon and a couple of pieces of card candy.

Ribbon and Lace
Ingredients
LOTV rubber stamp
Promarkers and Flexmarkers
Martha Stewart Punch around the page
Backing paper from Fee J Designs (it was a sheet I had printed out ages ago and I can't remember which CD it came from)
The doily was cut using a Cherry Lyn die. I made the paper myself using a pile of shaving foam and dropping different coloured inks into the foam and then swirling a sheet of copy paper over the top of the foam. A bit messy but great fun!

From Me To You
I've used a backing paper from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Inserts CD to compliment the House Mouse rubber stamp that I have used for the main image on my card. I have used Promarkers to colour the image and finished off with a couple of hat pins and some pretty ribbon.
The theme this week at CD Sunday is From Me To You and I hope you will have a look at what my fellow teamies have made and then join in the fun. I look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing your interpretations of our theme this week.

Spring Cleaning
For the Crafter's Companion challenge of Spring this month I decided that it was time for spring cleaning!
I started with an 8x8 card blank that I cut from CC's 16x16 white cardstock so I've got enough to make another card. I printed one of the scene's from the Adorables Summer Collection CD and then stamped some of the characters and accessories from the Adorables stamp sets. These have been coloured using promarkers and paper piecing using papers from Sizzix Little Sizzles pads. I then wrapped some bakers twine around the background to attach my bunting (also cut from the sizzix pad but the card section this time).

Sugar and Spice
I've chosen this Joanna Sheen House Mouse stamp for my card this week and used a combination of Promarkers and paper piecing to colour it.
I'm entering it for the challenge at HMFMC114 - Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice.
Imagine
Our theme this week at CD Sunday is Imagine which just happens to be the name of the CD from our lovely sponsor for the start of this month (can't believe it is March already) Elegant Inspiration. We were all given some backing papers and images to play with, this is the image I chose and here is my card.
There are some lovely images on this CD as you will see from the cards made by my very talented teamies and our guest designer for this month, Pamela. Welcome back Pamela, nice to have you with us again. :-)

Debbees Fans
Debs has got some wonderful free downloadable papers for you to play with this month. You will find them here. Don't forget to check out what my fellow teamies have made for you.
The base card was made using a sheet of Papermania Capsule Collection Textured Cardstock from the Midnight Monochrome pack. I found the instructions for the Bendy Fold Card here. I then decorated my card using two sheets of the backing papers that Debs has given us. I then printed out the toppers sheet and cut out the fans, decorated them with lots of glitter, pearls and a TASSLE!!!!
