#9 Anything Goes using a CD

Challenge #9 with  Jane  hosting this time. 

I've used a backing paper and image from Tweedies CD by Crafter's Companion. I haven't used this CD very much but have recently rediscovered it. There are some great images with the main images all using fabrics for the original artwork. The stamped greeting is from LOTV.

#8 Anything Goes using a CD and our 9th Blog Birthday

Happy Birthday to us! 

A new challenge for 14 April 2019 at CD Sunday Challenge Blog. It is our 9th Birthday and we have some special celebrations with prizes!  All the details will be here. 

I have used Enchanted Dreams CD by Joanna Sheen which features the paintings of Josephine Wall. This image was taken from the Zodiac section on the CD. The magical looking background card is from Kanban. I used one of a new set of dies from Crafter's Companion to cut out Aries the ram in silver mirri card and added some ribbon, a bow and two rows of gems to the left hand edge of the card.

Challenge #7 with Carol hosting. Before I show you my card this time did you all remember to put your clocks forward. Spring Forward! We have had some beautiful sunny days here in Bexhill - long may it continue. 

I've used a backing paper and image from the really sweet Precious Petals CD by Joanna Sheen using photos from award winning photographer Valerie Tabor Smith. I just added some ribbon and a bow to finish it off. Perfect to celebrate the arrival of a baby girl. The proud parents have called her Hazel Rose.

#6 Anything Goes Using a CD

Challenge #6 for this year and this time I'm hosting!

I've used an image by La Pashe - The Big One. There are lots of great images on this CD along with backing papers and sentiments. The main character is decoupaged. I used a couple of mats and layers to mount the background scene and verse. Perfect for any golf mad men - my husband being one of them! :-)

A new challenge -3 March 2019 at CD Sunday Challenge Blog. March already! How did that happen? This year is going by so quickly already.

I've used an image and backing paper from Once Upon a Fairytale CD by Debbi Moore. 

The gold paper I used to cover the entire card is from some very old stash - I think Kings Foils (?)

The elegant lady is decoupaged (not too difficult to cut out) and I used a strip of the backing paper across the middle of the card to layer her onto. The red border strips are cut from a Tattered Lace die. The sentiment is also from the CD.

I've used an image and backing paper from The Wrinklies CD by La Pashe. The Happy Birthday is a die from Crafter's Companion. I like the different fonts for the different letters. Gives it a quirky look.

I've used the Downton Abbey triple disc CD from Crafter's Companion for the image on this card. I've kept the design simple for this male birthday card. The die cuts are both from Crafter's Companion.
