#15 - Anything goes using a CD

It's another CD Sunday Challenge and this time Jane is hosting.  

I saw one of our wonderful followers (Meg) use this technique recently and decided to give it a go as it is a 'new to me' card design. You can find a tutorial here. I used the Mabel Lucie Attwell CD Volume 2 from Katy Sue Designs for the papers, sentiments and main image.

#14 - Anything Goes using a CD

We have a new challenge and this time Carol is hosting.  I found this lovely image on Pollyanna Pickering's Countryside Collection CD from Creative Crafting World. 

I used an A5 card in steel grey. I layered the backing paper, also from the CD, onto chocolate card from Creative Crafting World. I then used a die to cut a circle from the grey card, on top of that I added another circle of white card. This die was free from a magazine Christmas 2017. I then used the patterned circle from the CD followed by the topper. The flower dies are by Tim Holtz also cut in grey. I then used a white pen to put small dots over the flower heads to reflect the one in the picture. #13 - Anything Goes using a CD

We have a new challenge and this time I'm hosting the challenge. Eeek!

I have used Tom Mielko CD from Joanna Sheen for the main image and backing paper.

I used an 7 x 7 card and covered the whole card with the backing paper. I mounted the image onto sliver glitter card and attached this to the front of the card. 

I then used Marianne dies for the shells, lighthouse and anchor.

#12 - Anything Goes using a CD

We have a new challenge and this time Margaret is hosting.  I have used a backing paper from Animal Antics CD from Joanna Sheen.

I used an 6 x 6 card and layered the backing paper onto brown card from Creative Crafting World. The Sentiment is also a die from Creative Crafting World. 

The two cat dies reminded me of our two cats, Bramble with the blue bow and Poppy wearing the pink bow. :-)

#11 - Anything Goes using a CD

We have a new challenge and this time Wynn is hosting.  I found this lovely image on The Tweedies CD from Crafter's Companion. 

I used an 8 x 8 card and made several mats and layers using different backing papers, also from the CD, onto chocolate card from Creative Crafting World. 

I added some brown lace to the first mat and layer to reflect the materials used in the main image and give a slightly vintage feel. I added a sentiment 'Just for You' so that this card could be used for any occasion and I think it would work equally well for male or female.

#10 - Anything Goes using a CD

A new challenge for  12  May 2019 at CD Sunday Challenge Blog. Meg is hosting this one. Sadly this will be Meg's last challenge as part of the DT. 

Here is my card for this week:

I chose my image and backing papers from a CD that I haven't looked at for ages. It is Asian Mystique from Little Lou's Craft Supplies. The topper came from a sheet with several images on so I have decoupaged just one layer. I matted one backing paper onto gold mirri and then passed the other one through a hot foiling machine to add extra richness. I then added peel off edges and corners. I matted the main image on gold glitter card and blue mirri. I then added a couple of gems to her jewelry and a gold bow.

#9 Anything Goes using a CD

Challenge #9 with  Jane  hosting this time. 

I've used a backing paper and image from Tweedies CD by Crafter's Companion. I haven't used this CD very much but have recently rediscovered it. There are some great images with the main images all using fabrics for the original artwork. The stamped greeting is from LOTV.
